The new ownership on Café Intime keeps up the tradition having live music during the evenings. Fellow musicians or even guests are often invited to join the sessions. Trannies and their friends used to meet here in the Butterfly Club the first Friday every month since 1998 but has now since July 2006 terminated their meetings at Never Mind. Car Parking Parking in Copenhagen Gammeltoftsgade 17 Krak map Parking in Copenhagen has become very very expensive and getting a parking fee is also expensive so read carefully the Parkering København website if you are planning to go by car to Wonderful Copenhagen. Note that there are other car parking rules in other cities in Greater Copenhagen like Fredriksberg etc and the parking ticket is only valid in one city. Parking zones There are three parking zones in Copenhagen called: Red, Green and Blue zone Parking ticket cost per hour for these zones are 25, 15 and 9 Dkr and payment is required weekdays 08:00 - 22:00, Saturdays 08:00 - 17:00 and Sundays and Danish holidays are free. In the Blue zone you also pay 2 Dkr per hour during weekdays nights ie 22:00 - 08:00. Blue zone is today a max 2 hours parking zone which is being replaced with the Blue zone parking meters beginning in February 2007. One day parking - 2 hours zone When there is no parking ticket zone you are only allowed to park for max 2 hours during day time and a parking clock in your car front window is required. There are all-day parking tickets available for the 2 hour zone (for a cost of 50 Dkr) and you have to buy these tickets at the Post office or at the The Copenhagen Tourist office at Vesterbrogade 4A (Krak map) The Post Office at the Main Railway Station (Hovedbanegården) is open until 21:00 during weekdays and until 16:00 during Saturday/Sunday. (Krak map) One week parking If you are going to stay for a week I recommend you to buy an "Ugekort" ie one week parking permit at Parkering København which will reduce your cost substantially. Green zone cost is 585 Dkr and extra days can also be added for only 77 Dkr per day at initial purchase. Blue zone cost is 335 Dkr and extra days can also be added for only 36 Dkr per day at initial purchase. Payment of a Parking fee A parking fee is a control fee. The fee amounts to 510 Dkr and can be paid at the Post Office at the Main Railway Station (Hovedbanegården). Hotels Reservations online can be made for most of the hotels via this Hotel Portal for all of Denmark. Search for hotels can also be made via this Hotel Portal for Copenhagen and also by using the services from Denmark Bookings and Visit Copenhagen Most hotels do have Internet connection, so bring your laptop PC ... but be prepared to pay a daily fee (approx 100 Dkr) for using hotel internet connections but some hotels do offer free internet connections, see their web pages for the latest updates.
